An Egyptian artist who graduated as an Architect.

At a very young age, I fell in love with art, and I’ll forever be grateful for having a family who noticed this great passion and made sure to nurture it as I grew up.

Growing up in Cairo, the capital of Islamic culture has influenced my art direction. I’ve always been fascinated by Arabic calligraphy all over the walls of mosques, graveyards, schools, libraries and monuments; it's decorative art on its own that has a very strong stopping power to the human eye.

My academic journey in Architecture gave me the opportunity to study the History of Islamic Architecture, Interior Design, as well as basic techniques of visual arts, such as painting, color mixing, and various theoretical courses, all of which helped me put together the peices which are now injecting life into my passion and bringing it to a tangible form called "Art".

Four years into studying architecture, I had the opportunity to express my passion for Arabic calligraphy through my graduation project; and so I needed to learn everything about it: What is Arabic calligraphy? Where does it originate from? And what are the different forms it takes?

The rich history of Arabic calligraphy and its origins and evolution over time were a source of inspiration to me in finding ways to integrate Arabic calligraphy with modern interiors, while still preserving its Arab Islamic identity.

Following my five-year academic journey of studying architecture, I decided to expand my experience and embark on a commercial path in the field of Real Estate, more specifically, Innovation & Development.
However, I never lost sight of my dream to revive the art of Arabic calligraphy and merge it with Egyptian crafts; and I've always found ways to come back around to the thing I do best: expressing myself through art.

Every day I used to work harder on every opportunity that presents itself to me in order to make this dream come to life.

For I believe that "Art is an ongoing journey that would keep me alive until the day I’m gone - and even then, the legacy I leave behind, will go on"
